Made by the Milazzo winery, a production company located in Campobello di Licata, in the province of Agrigento. It is a blend based on Chardonnay and Inzolia, in which tropical fruit is the key that accompanies nose and palate in a refreshing and highly satisfying taste experience. Merit also goes to the winery's production approach, which, from the very beginning of its activity, has obsessively dedicated itself to the pursuit of quality, establishing a path of organic management of the vineyards and progressive reduction of environmental impact. A responsible choice, from which labels such as this 'Maria Costanza' are born, in which the beauty of the Sicilian terroir resounds with every sip.This 'Maria Costanza' white wine is made by the Milazzo winery from a blend of a great indigenous grape variety, Inzolia, and an international variety that finds interesting qualitative peaks in Sicily, Chardonnay. The vines of both varieties are cultivated using the guyot system, and sink their roots into a subsoil composed mainly of marl rich in limestone. Once harvested by hand, the grapes are softly pressed and alcoholically fermented both in steel and, for a small part of the total wine mass equivalent to 10%, in barriques. This division between steel and wood continues also during the maturation phase, which lasts for 6 months.The white wine "Maria Costanza" announces itself to the eye with a straw-yellow colour, crossed by faint flashes of greenish hues. The nose is characterised by complex, layered aromas, in which the first notes of tropical fruit give way to floral and balsamic sensations. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, ample, and full-bodied, with an intense sip characterised by a fruity flavour and a pleasantly fresh vein.
