Rum Don Papa Gayuma (Canned) - 70cl

Don Papa Gayuma, a super premium rum that pays homage to the rituals typical of the shamans of Mount Kanlaon, whose name refers to a “love potion”. Bottled at 40%, the rum is distilled from sugar cane molasses from Negros Island and matured at the foot of Mount Kanlaon: first in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels for three years, then a double passage: six months in toasted ex-Rioja barrels and three months in rich, warm, smoky oak casks that previously contained peaty Scotch Whisky from the Isle of Islay. Don Papa Gayuma is presented with an intricate tropical gothic-inspired design that echoes aspects of the dark mystical rituals and traditions of Negros and Siquijor, depicting the dark face of the characters and creatures found there and the irreverence of Papa Isio, the revolutionary hero that inspires Don Papa's name.
