Cantine Fina's Nero d'Avola is an intense, fruity red wine made from Sicily's most famous red grape variety. Originally from the Noto Valley area, this variety has acclimatised well in western Sicily and in particular in the inland area of Marsala. This is a young, fragrant version, which focuses above all on enhancing the rich fruit and immediacy of drinking. Vinification in stainless steel preserves the notes of cherry, berries and aromatic herbs that characterise the grape's aromatic profile. It is therefore perfect to be tasted with the tasty first courses of Sicilian cuisine.The Nero d'Avola red wine has a young and dynamic face and is produced by one of the most important protagonists of the wine scene in the Marsala area. Cantine Fina is a recent reality that has been able to assert itself for the quality of its wines and for a particular attention to the valorisation of native Sicilian vines. The production of a Nero d'Avola label with a typically varietal and Mediterranean profile, which well expresses the character of the territory, is part of this logic. The vineyards are cultivated close to the sea and the grapes ripen thanks to a warm, dry and always well-ventilated climate. It is precisely the favourable soil and climatic conditions that have made it possible to embrace the principles of organic farming and to produce labels with an authentic, healthy and genuine taste.Cantine Fina's Nero d'Avola wine is made from grapes grown in the Contrada Bausa area, at an altitude of around 600 metres above sea level. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with classic vinification and maceration on the skins. The wine matures a few months in steel and completes its ageing process with 6 months in the bottle before being put on the market. In the glass it shows a ruby red colour with light violet reflections. The aromas are reminiscent of small red berries, ripe cherries, slightly spicy nuances and hints of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean maquis. The palate is intense, rich, with fine tannins and a juicy texture, anticipating a fresh and persistent finish. All the youthful pleasantness of Nero d'Avola.
