It was just after the end of the Second World War when Sabina Marzadro, after spending several years serving in a politician's house in Rome, decided to return home, to Brancolino di Nogaredo, a small village in the province of Trento, with the specific intention of changing her life. Her dream was to become a good distiller and so it was, together with her brother they started distilling the first pomace and selling the brandy at low prices to make a name for themselves. Before long, walking into a bar and asking for a small glass of Marzadro had become a must and, even today, their grappas are synonymous with great quality! Marzadro's 18 Lune extravecchia grappa is a marc brandy made from the distillation of some of the best-known varieties of Trentino: Merlot, Marzemino, Teroldego, Chardonnay and Moscato. Aged for a good 18 moons, about a year and a half, it offers intense, ethereal and elegant aromas.
