The Perricone made by the Fina cellars is a red wine with personality from the Marsala area. It offers a precious range of spices on the nose, intense and enveloping, while in the mouth it has an elegant sip, with a solid and velvety tannic base. A label that identifies with the territory from which it originates, with unmistakable Sicilian connotations, that transports us sip by sip into the Marsala countryside, where sea and salt pans alternate with vineyards conducted with organic farming, attentive to safeguarding the splendid landscapes that surround the vineyards.The red Perricone wine is made by the Fina winery from various plots of land scattered in western Sicily, an area where Perricone, a native red grape variety important for viticulture in the entire region, has its origins. The vines are grown using the counter-espalier system with guyot pruning, at an altitude of around 250 metres above sea level. The must, obtained by gently pressing the grapes, ferments in temperature-controlled steel containers. This is followed by ageing, which is short-lived and takes place in steel, and then continues, after bottling, with a further 6 months of maturation in glass before release.Fina Perricone announces itself to the eye with an intense, deep and dark ruby colour, at times impenetrable. The nose opens on a scale of interesting spicy notes, which slowly allow touches of jammy fruit to emerge. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a refined, ample and swelling mouthfeel and a good tannic texture. It closes with a finish endowed with excellent persistence.
